Hello Redbank Valley families! We wanted to make sure that our district's families were aware of the benefits and discounts available to all of you because our area is considered "economically disadvantaged."
First, under the state's Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), Redbank Valley School District is able to provide breakfast and lunch meals to our students at no cost to your households for each day of the 2023-2024 school year. Your children can participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. The students have the opportunity to buy a snack or an additional lunch for a charge, and for this reason, money can still be placed in your child's My School Bucks account. In addition to free breakfast and lunch, P-EBT (Pandemic EBT) cards have been sent to area families by the state to cover the cost of lunches should your child be absent from school. Redbank Valley School District cannot answer questions regarding these funds. You can also contact the P-EBT hotline at 1-888-328-7366.
Finally, because we are a CEP district, your family may be eligible to receive discounts on Internet service. Please see the document linked below for more information about this discount. Additionally, to make your application process easier, we have included another district letter below that will serve as documentation that your child attends Redbank Valley School District. Please download this document and make sure to add your name and your child's name before submitting the letter during your application process.
