Director of Special Education
The Redbank Valley School District is seeking qualified applicants for Director of Special Education. Appointment on or about June 24, 2025 with a start date of July 1, 2025. Located 18 miles south of Clarion, PA, Redbank Valley School District covers portions of southern Clarion and northern Armstrong counties. Redbank Valley SD is a proud, rural, small town school district serving 950 students, 150 staff and has an annual budget of approximately $22 million. 18.3% of Redbank Valley students receive special education. Redbank is seeking a collaborative leader with stellar communication skills and an ability to build and maintain a positive school culture. Knowledge of current trends in special education, a commitment to educational excellence and fiscal responsibility required. Person must demonstrate professional ethics, interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and a solid understanding of legislative, legal and financial issues in special education. Building level administrative experience and/or supervisory special education experience preferred.

- Highly Qualified Aides - Primary responsibilities are to assist students, either one-on-one or in a classroom setting, and provide instructional/non-
