On June 30, 2021, PA Governor Tom Wolf signed PDE Act 66. This law gives parents the right to have their student(s) repeat a grade level, even if they have passed this past school year (2020-21). Due to the virtual and hybrid learning environments utilized by school districts due to COVID-19 restrictions, parents may feel that their child needs in-person instruction to fully understand the grade-level skills taught over the past year. If your student has passed this last school year but you would like to request that they repeat the grade instead, please visit the following page on PDE's website for further instruction on how to make that happen.
